Red Flag Warning Extended Until Monday Evening

Officials warned the public amid strong winds.

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA -- The National Weather Service announced Monday that a Red Flag Warning was extended until 5 p.m. Monday as the region experiences high temperatures and strong winds.

A Red Flag Warning means that the region is experiencing critical fire weather conditions.

The affected area includes Sonoma, Marin and Napa counties.

Forecasters said Napa County faces the highest threat, especially along the Yolo County line.
