Santa Rosa Man Dies From Tubbs Fire Injuries

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — The Sacramento County coroner's office Wednesday confirmed the death of a Santa Rosa man who was burned in last month's Tubbs Fire. Michael Azarian, 41, died around 5 a.m. Sunday at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
The cause of death was extensive burn injuries, a coroner's office spokeswoman said.
Azarian's death is the 44th from the wildfires in Northern California last month. Twenty-four of the deaths were in Sonoma County.
