NORTH BAY, CA — A fire was causing delays for SMART trains Monday afternoon.
The delays started around 12:30 p.m. and affected Trains 18 and 21. In an update at 1:40 p.m., SMART said Trains 18 and 20 were delayed up to 30 minutes in the northbound direction.
Train 18 usually departs Larkspur at 12:15 p.m. and arrives at Sonoma County Airport at 1:30 p.m.

Train 20 usually departs Larkspur at 12:47 p.m. and arrives at the airport at 2:07 p.m.
All other trains were on time, SMART said.

It was not immediately clear where the fire was burning.
