Sonoma County Man Among 2 Arrested In East Bay Shooting: Cops

Authorities seized two assault weapons, four handguns, a 50-round drum magazine, and ammunition during the arrest, police said.

BERKELEY, CA — Two suspects were arrested Thursday in connection with a West Berkeley shooting last month, police said.

A 19-year-old Santa Rosa man and a 17-year-old male juvenile were arrested with the assistance of multiple agencies, the Berkeley Police Department said in a statement.

No injuries were reported in the Sept. 4 shooting, police said.

The suspects were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and shooting at a vehicle among other charges, police said.

Both suspects are gang members, according to police.
