Suspect Sought In Drive-By Shooting In Petaluma
A passenger in a light-colored small or mid-size SUV reportedly fired at least one round at the victim, according to police.
PETALUMA, CA — Petaluma police asked for the public's help identifying the suspect in a drive-by shooting.
The Petaluma Police Department received a 911 call at 4:11 p.m. Sunday about a shooting from a moving vehicle that had just taken place on Crinella Drive and Baywood Drive. A motorcyclist told police that a passenger in a car was armed with a handgun and fired a round at the victim while he was on his motorcycle.
Petaluma police officers responded and contacted the victim who was not struck by the gunfire and was not injured.

The victim said the shooting happened after a disagreement over a right-of-way at the previous intersection.
The suspect car, described as a light-colored small or mid-size SUV, was last seen traveling northbound on Crinella Drive.
