Volunteers Needed For Petaluma Butter & Egg Days
More than 200 volunteers are sought for the popular, long-running community event.

PETALUMA, CA — More than 25,000 people are expected to attend the 42nd annual Butter and Egg Days Festival and Parade on Saturday, April 19.
It is a production that requires the help of 200 volunteers who stage the parade, carry banners, work in beverage booths, keep the parade route safe, sell memorabilia, and much more, according to event organizers at the Petaluma Downtown Association.
For the event to run smoothly, the Petaluma Downtown Association asks volunteers to attend Training Day at 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 9. Volunteers are served free dinner as organizers give details about the event and the various tasks volunteers can sign up for.
