27 Pounds Of Meth Seized, Bay Area Man Caught Selling Drugs To Undercover Detectives
Officers found over $300,000 worth of drugs after searching three Bay Area locations, police said.
MARIN COUNTY, CA — DEA agents uncovered suspected methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl and cannabis totaling over $300,000 worth of drugs intended for sale in Marin County and Contra Costa County, police announced Monday.
In April, detectives from the Marin County Sheriff's Office said they began an investigation into Reginald Weaver, 58, of Richmond, who they suspected was selling methamphetamine in the North Bay.
Police said during their investigation, Weaver sold suspected methamphetamine to undercover detectives in Marin and Contra Costa counties.

On Tuesday, DEA agents along with detectives served federal search warrants at three locations in Contra Costa County that police said were associated with Weaver.
Officers said during the search they seized 27 pounds of meth, 11 pounds of cannabis, 6.5 pounds of cocaine and 2.7 pounds on fentanyl. Detectives said they also found two guns.

"The approximate street value of the narcotics seized exceeds $300,000," police said.
Weaver was booked into federal custody where he is currently being held without bail.
