We ran a story this week about a dramatic spike in residential burglaries in Hercules this past month. There have been 11 burglaries this April, compared to just two during the same month last year.  In yesterday's police log, there was another burglary:   <blockquote> On April 24, 2013, at about 5:30 pm, a resident from the 100 block of Grissom Ct reported their home had been burglarized. Officers did not locate anyone inside. The side garage door had been forced open. The incident occurred between 7:30 am and the time of call. The loss is small electronics, cash, jewelry, and silverware. </blockquote>
