Blue Hour By The Bay: Contra Costa Photo Of The Day

HERCULES, CA — Photographer Sandra Davis took this photograph early in the morning to capture the "blue hour" by the San Pablo Bay in Hercules.

"It was 6 a.m., and it was just me, my camera, tripod, and a few solitary, early-morning runners," Sandra wrote in an email to Patch. "I loved the quiet and stillness of the morning."
