Firearms Stolen From Home & Non-Injury Collision (Police Log)

Here's a digest of police calls from the Hercules Police Department: 

Residential Burglary: On April 22, 2013 at about 11:10 am, Officers were dispatched to a reported audible residential alarm heard in the 1900 block of Redwood St. Officers located the residence and found a second story bedroom window ajar with the screen cut. The Fire Department was called to assist with access to the open window. A check of the residence revealed various items strewn about in the bedroom with the open window. The rest of the house appeared undisturbed. The homeowners responded to the residence and said that they left just shortly before the time of the call. Loss appears to be small electronics and jewelry

Residential Burglary: On April 22, 2013, at about 11:52 am, a citizen from the 1400 block of Partridge reported that he left his residence for about 20 minutes. When he returned home he noticed an unfamiliar vehicle parked near his home. He described t he vehicle as a dark in color, occupied by a African American adult male, 19-20 years old.  The male was wearing a white t-shirt, with a short fade haircut. The resident went to confront the subject who immediately drove away towards Pheasant Drive. When the resident went back inside his residence he noticed that his master bedroom had been ransacked and the attached bathroom window was completely removed. Loss appears to be jewelry.

Residential Burglary: On April 22, 2013, at about 2:11 pm Officers responded to the 200 block of Newbury. The reporting party said the burglary betweeen12:30-2:00 pm. The point of entry was a side garage door which was pried open. The loss appeared to be cash and jewelry.

 

Stolen Vehicle: On April 22, 2013, at about 5:00 pm, a citizen from the100 block of Lotus Ct reported that someone took her 2003 Honda Accord between 4/19/13 at 10:00 am and 4/22/13 at 5:00 pm. The Honda was last seen parked in front of her residence. A records check showed the vehicle was towed, earlier today, by CHP in San Francisco for blocking the roadway. A case was taken for a stolen vehicle report and the victim was advised to contact the Highway Patrol.

 

Residential Burglary: On April 22, 2013, at about 6:30 pm, Officers went to the 200 block Lilac Circle to attempt to contact the owner of the firearm, which had been discarded in the prior pursuit. There was no answer at the front door.   Officers checked of the exterior portion of the residence and found a rear sliding glass door was open. The master bedroom was ransacked.  The loss appeared to be firearms.

 

Non-injury Collision exchange of INFO: On April 22, 2013 8:40 PM an Officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of Willow Ave. The collision occurred on private property.  The officer assisted the drivers with an exchange of information.

 

Vehicle Theft 10851 CVC: On April 22, 2013, at 9:39 PM, an Officer was dispatched to the 400 block of N. Wildwood. The reporting party stated that her Gray 2003 Acura CL was parked on Village Parkway, at Devonwood, and was stolen between April 20th at 3:00 PM and April 22 at 9:39 PM.
