Here's How Much Rain Has Fallen Near Pinole, Hercules

Over an inch of rain has fallen Thursday in parts of Contra Costa County, with more rain and possibly a thunderstorm still to come.

PINOLE AND HERCULES, CA — Rainfall totals climbed Thursday in Pinole, Hercules and Contra Costa County as a storm bore down on the Bay Area, with more showers and possibly a thunderstorm and hail still to come.

The chance of rain in Pinole and Hercules was expected to remain at 70 percent Thursday night, according to the National Weather Service.

"New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms," the NWS said Thursday afternoon.
