High School Football: Hercules Wins Third Straight; Pinole Valley Remains Winless

The Titans hold on to defeat Piner High while the Spartans come up short against College Park

Hercules High won its third straight game by downing Piner High of Santa Rosa, 21-12, in Friday night football action.

Hercules led 21-0 at the end of the three quarters before Piner scored 12 unanswered points in the final period.

The Titans are now 3-1 on the season while the Prospectors fell to 2-2.

Pinole Valley High dropped its fourth straight game, losing to College Park High, 27-14.

The game was tied at 7-7 at halftime and the Falcons held a slim 21-14 lead after three quarters before putting the game away.

The Spartans are now 0-4 while College Park improved to 2-1-1.
