Man Arrested For Armed Carjacking In San Pablo

The victim was allegedly held at knifepoint and ordered to give the suspect the car.

SAN PABLO — San Pablo police arrested a man Sunday accused of an early morning carjacking.

Police got a call at 3:21 a.m. about a carjacking on the 14000 block of San Pablo Avenue.

The victim was allegedly held at knifepoint and ordered to give the suspect the car.

Officers obtained suspect and vehicle information from the victim. Police said on social media "It didn't take long" before officers located the vehicle parked at a nearby apartment complex. Police deployed spike strips to stop the vehicle and arrested the alleged carjacker and took him to jail.
