HERCULES, CA — A woman reported missing in California’s Central Coast two months ago was found Tuesday afternoon outside a Hercules Safeway, barefoot, injured, and frantically pleading for help, according to KRON.
Moments earlier, the missing woman, 33, of Castroville, was inside her 25-year-old boyfriend’s vehicle parked at the Safeway on San Pablo Avenue in Hercules, she told police according to KRON.
Spotting a patrol car in the distance, she“saw an opportunity to get away,” and ran to officers, KRON reported.

An endangered missing person alert had been issued in November after her father raised concerns about her safety, KRON reported. The woman's identity was not released.
Her boyfriend fled the scene. The woman was taken to a hospital, and authorities notified her family, according to KRON.
