Police Identify Suspect In Shooting Of 11-Year-Old Girl
Police advised the public not to approach the man suspected of shooting a girl Monday but to call 911 instead.
ANTIOCH, CA — Police identified a suspect in the shooting of an 11-year-old girl who was hit in the head by a stray bullet on Monday afternoon outside an Antioch apartment complex.
Police are searching for Ryan Hardy, 23, who is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities advise the public not to approach him. Anyone who sees Hardy, or knows where he may be, should call 911 immediately. Police urged Hardy to peacefully surrender to the Antioch Police Department.
Detectives also identified others suspected of helping Hardy evade police, and who could be arrested on suspicion of being an accessory.

The shooting happened on Monday in the parking lot of the Delta View Apartments at 3915 Delta Fair Blvd. The girl was sitting in the passenger seat of the car with her family at about 12:39 p.m. when she was hit by a bullet fired nearby.
