Pinole Hero Sews Hundreds Of Free Masks

We all know someone who's making a difference in this difficult time. Let's help share these amazing stories!

PINOLE, CA —When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

This is the second time that Denise Brown has been nominated, this time by Pamela Surss who says, "She is a very active grandparent at our school, Collins Elementary."

She has been making masks and handing them out to people all over West county!

What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
She has made over 400 masks and has given them to volunteers handing out food at Pinole Valley High School and many other important places!
