Pinole Residents, Business Invited To Online Workshop About City's Economic Development Strategy

All Pinole residents and businesses are invited to participate in a special online workshop to discuss Pinole’s economic future. The meeting will support the City’s preparation (currently underway) of an Economic Development Strategy. The workshop will be held on Wednesday, July 20, from 7-8 pm via zoom. Meeting details are provided at https://www.ci.pinole.ca.us/city_government/economic_development/economic_development_strategy.

The Pinole Economic Development Strategy will provide a “roadmap” for:

• Attracting targeted new development and business investment
• Creating jobs
• Revitalizing Old Town Pinole and other commercial/industrial areas
• Ensuring the City's long-term fiscal health

During the community workshop, attendees will receive an overview of the draft EDS (a “preview draft” is available now at https://www.ci.pinole.ca.us/city_government/economic_development/economic_development_strategy.

The meeting will also be an opportunity for attendees to provide input about the types of new development and businesses they may like to see in Pinole in the future.
