Trio Of Hummingbirds: Contra Costa Photos Of The Day

HERCULES, CA — Photographer Sandra Davis captured these images of hummingbirds during the last week of October in Hercules.

"One must be patient, as these guys don’t typically pose for their photo op," Davis told Patch in an email. "I sat with my camera and coffee and just waited. I was rewarded with photographs of these beautiful hummingbirds and the lovely morning light."
