Vehicle and Commercials Break-Ins Reported in the Police Log
Pinole Police responded to multiple burglaries last week.

PINOLE, CA- Pinole Police Department reported six auto burglaries this past week, along with two commercial burglaries, and one residential burglary. Pinole Crime Prevention Unit reminds residents to hide valuables out of sight while away from your vehicle even if you are away for a short period of time.
Commercial Burglaries
700 block of San Pablo Avenue on Saturday afternoon: Suspects broke into a mechanic shop and took tools a set of keys to a vehicle, a set of rims from the vehicle that was parked in the secure parking lot. According to the police log, the suspects tampered with the door locks on a couple of vehicles and moved another vehicle within the secure parking lot. No information has been released on the suspect, however, a motorcycle glove and an envelope opener were left behind and are considered evidence.

2600 block of Appian Way Saturday afternoon: Jewelry and a stereo amplifier were reportedly stolen from a stoage unit.
Auto Burglaries

1500 block of Pinole Valley Road on Saturday night: A victim’s wallets and purse were stolen from their vehicle after a window was smashed in.
400 block of Dursey Drive early Sunday morning: An unknown suspect reportedly broke the driver’s side window of a vehicle and took a pair of sunglasses.
1300 block of Pinole Valley Road Wednesday afternoon: A person’s vehicle window was smashed in the parking lot and burglarized.
2900 block of Pinole Valley Road Wednesday afternoon: A victim’s vehicle was burglarized via window smash.
1300-1400 block of Fitzgerald Drive Thursday night: Two vehicles were broken into with miscellaneous things stolen after the passenger side windows were smashed.
Residential Burglaries
2800 block of Estates Avenue on Saturday afternoon: A storage unit was broken into and luggage was reportedly stolen.
