Woman Hits Man With Shoe in Jack in the Box Parking Lot; Both Arrested for Public Intoxication

A male and a female were were reported to have been fighting in the backseat of a Chevrolet at a Shell Station last Saturday night, according to the Hercules Police Department. The vehicle was last seen driving north on San Pablo Avenue toward Rodeo, according to police:

An officer located the vehicle at San Pablo Ave at John Muir Parkway.  The vehicle was stopped to check the welfare of the occupants.   An adult male was in the rear of the vehicle and his wife an adult female, was sitting in the front passenger seat.  The couple was married, and had a physical altercation in the back of the vehicle, while they were in the parking lot of Jack in the Box.  The female hit the male, with her shoe, and slapped him with an open hand. 47 year old Esther Masoli was arrested for Domestic Battery. 47 year old Loane Masoli was extremely intoxicated was arrested for Public Intoxication.  Both subjects were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.
