Pittsburg: Road Rage Incident Nets 2 Arrests, AK-Style Rifle and Ammo Recovered (contracosta.news) — Pittsburg police say a late-night road rage confrontation led to two arrests and the seizure of an AK-style rifle plus a large amount of ammunition near San Marcos Boulevard. Officers tracked down a suspect vehicle on nearby city streets, detained two people, and discovered one is barred from owning firearms. Authorities are urging residents to keep reporting suspicious behavior while they withhold further case details for now.
   

3. The Pirates still claimed the NCS Division I championship, capping one of the region’s strongest campaigns and putting Pittsburg firmly among Northern California’s elite programs this year.
