Dickey's Barbecue, a national take-out eatery chain known for its "Big Yellow Cup" is set to open in Pleasant Hill in June.
It will be owned by Joseph and Amy Meadows and located at the former Burger Road restaurant, 2634 Pleasant Hill Road.
"Pleasant Hill is missing fast casual and take-out restaurant options," said Amy Meadows in a news release. "We love the menu, variety of food options and affordability that Dickey's provides — fast and healthy is a major plus."

Texas-based Dickey's Barbecue Pit opened in 1941 and began franchising in 1994. Dickey's Barbecue Pit is well-known for its hot pit-smoked signature meats, complimentary ice cream and the BYC.
