Pleasant Hill Apartment Building Fire Displaces 7 Adults, 3 Kids

Ten people were displaced and two dogs were killed in a fire at an apartment building in Pleasant Hill on Friday night.

CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CA -- Ten people were displaced from their residences on Friday after a fire broke out at an apartment building in Pleasant Hill.

The fire was reported at 9:21 p.m. March 24 at 31 Massolo Dr., off of Contra Costa Boulevard.

The blaze was extinguished with no injuries reported to humans, but two dogs lost their lives. In all, seven adults and three children were displaced, the dispatcher said.

The American Red Cross was called in to assist the displaced residents, according to the dispatcher.

No other information about the fire was immediately available.
