Sephora Opens At Kohl's In Pleasant Hill

PLEASANT HILL, CA — After launching this month inside Kohl's, Sephora is open for business, offering its make-up, fragrances, skin and hair care products at the Pleasant Hill store at 2302 Monument Blvd.

The move into Kohl's is part of a nationwide, corporate strategy to add 400 Sephora shops to the department store network in 2022, with a 2023 goal of 850 Sephora stores, management said.

"We're thrilled to be bringing Sephora at Kohl's closer to millions more of our customers nationwide through this 400-store expansion," said Doug Howe, Kohl's chief merchandising officer. "The quick and vast rollout of Sephora at Kohl's is a testament to how much we believe in this partnership and making prestige beauty more accessible to people everywhere."

In Pleasant Hill, Sephora at Kohl's features trained "beauty advisors" in a 2,500-square-foot space designed to mimic a freestanding Sephora, the company said.

Joining the beauty supplier's product line-up are six, new brands: Murad; Clarins; Jack Black; Living Proof; Versace; and Voluspa, management said.

Other brands sold include Rare Beauty, NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, Kiehl's, Giorgio Armani, Olaplex, Clinique and Sephora Collection.

"We want every customer who comes to Sephora at Kohl's to be able to discover new brands and find their favorites, just like they do at our other Sephora stores," said Artemis Patrick, Sephora's executive vice president and global chief merchandising officer.

Kohl's in Pleasant Hill is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Other San Francisco Bay Area Kohl's with in-house Sephora shops include Alameda, Campbell, San Jose, Santa Rosa, Vacaville and Vallejo. Locations listed here.
