12-Year-Old Accused Of Robbing Pleasanton ATM Customers
A 12-year-old and 17-year-old are accused of assaulting Pleasanton ATM customers and demanding cash, police said.

PLEASANTON, CA — A 12 and 17-year-old from Livermore were arrested on suspicion of multiple ATM robberies in Pleasanton last month, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.
The two suspects are accused of donning face masks and physically assaulting victims at various ATMs around Pleasanton to demand cash. Reports indicate that this happened at least four to five times, according to Pleasanton Police Department spokesperson Teri Yan.
No weapons were reported during the robberies, but police said that an unserialized gun was recovered during the arrest of the 12-year-old.

Both suspects were booked at Juvenile Hall on charges of first-degree robbery.
Police are not releasing the identities of the suspects, so it is unclear if the 12-year-old was also arrested in connection with 49 car burglaries and vandalism that took place in downtown Livermore from May 5 to June 3. On June 10, a 12-year-old boy, 14-year-old girl, and 15-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of smashing the front windows of cars parked overnight in downtown Livermore and stealing items inside.

Juvenile Hall would not accept the suspects because the offenses were non-violent, so all three were cited, and released to their parents.
