2K Lost Power Monday Morning In Dublin, Pleasanton

Officials believe the outage was weather-related.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — About 2,100 Pacific Gas & Electric Co. customers in pocks of Dublin and Pleasanton lost power Monday morning amid a Bay Area wind advisory.

The outage struck at 9 a.m. affected pockets near Interstate Highway 580, from approximately Silvergate Drive to Stoneridge Drive. Nobody east of Interstate Highway 680 was affected, according to the PG&E outage map.

PG&E believed the cause was weather-related and restored power to the area hours later.

Tri-Valley was also covered by a red flag warning, which means any fires sparked could spread quickly amid dry, windy weather.
