Attempted Robbery At Stoneridge: 3 Teens Arrested With Gun

One teen grabbed the woman after she exited her car and another pointed a gun in her face, police said.

PLEASANTON, CA — Three teenagers were arrested Monday afternoon in connection with an armed robbery attempt at Stoneridge Shopping Center, police said.

The victim, a woman who was ambushed after exiting her car, was uninjured, police said.

The teenagers, who were not named in a police statement because they are minors, were found with a gun and booked into Juvenile Hall on felony charges, police said.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. when the woman was approached by the teenagers, who demanded she give them her car and purse, police said. One grabbed her by the arms and another pointed a gun in her face.

She pulled away and yelled for help, prompting the teens to run inside the shopping center, police said.
