PLEASANTON, CA — Three suspects were arrested this month after investigators allege they loaded bags full of Lululemon merchandise and attempted to flee in a waiting vehicle.

The Pleasanton Police Department said officers driving through a shopping center parking lot spotted a car linked to a previous grand theft incident. Within a few moments, officers saw four women loading shopping bags into the same car.

Police approached the car and said the suspects attempted to run away, but officers caught and arrested three of them. Officials said an estimated $5,800 in stolen merchandise was discovered inside the car, which had also been reported stolen.
