30th Annual Spirit Run Open For Registration

The Rotary Club of Pleasanton's 30th Annual Spirit Run is a costumed run that raises money for local charities and scholarships.

PLEASANTON, CA — If you think a broomstick or angel wings will help you run faster, you’re in luck: the Rotary Club of Pleasanton’s 30th Annual Spirit Run is open for registration.

The 5K/10K/Kid’s Challenge run/walk will take place Sunday, Oct. 22 at 8 a.m., and participants are encouraged to run in costume. 100 percent of proceeds will go into local scholarships and local 501 (c)(3) organizations. In the past grant recipients have included Hively, Open Heart Kitchen, Sunflower Hill, Agape Villages, Hope Hospice, the Valley Humane Society and more.

Registration costs $40 until Friday at 11:59 p.m., and then increases to $45 after that, plus a $3.40 signup fee. See here to sign up, and here for more information.
