Forward Progress Stopped On Calavares Fire: Cal Fire

SUNOL, CA — Cal Fire units have stopped the Calavares Fire, which grew to 15 acres near Calavares and Indian Creek roads.

The Calavares Fire broke out just before 4 p.m. Tuesday, and has spread to both sides of Calavares Road by 4:30 p.m., according to reports from the Watch Duty app.

At 5:23 pm., Cal Fire noted that forward progress was stopped, and the fire was 50% contained.
