Drive-Through Winter Light Show Debuting At Alameda County Fairgrounds
'Winter Glow' is a mile-long drive through magical twinkling lights open this month.
PLEASANTON, CA — The Alameda County Fairgrounds has a suitably dazzling new edition for the season of lights. This year, the fairgrounds are debuting the Winter Glow Experience, a mile-long, 45-minute drive-through light show featuring hundreds of festive, holiday-themed displays.
All ages are welcome to hop in the car, set the radio to holiday music that accompanies the light show, and enjoy glittering displays of everything from presents to dragons to dreidels, with Santa and the reindeer never far from sight.
The night show is open nightly until Dec. 28 from 5:30-9 p.m. It is located at 2005 Valley Avenue in Pleasanton at Gate 12. Entry is timed, and late arrivals will wait for the next time slot. Standard vehicle rates are $19.90 on weekday nights, and $22.90 on weekends and Christmas.
