PLEASANTON, CA — A car crashed into a home off South Valley Trails in Pleasanton Sunday, according to the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department.

Three LPFD engines responded to the collision, which caused significant damage to the garage and the front side of the home, according to photos. The driver of a Tesla SUV sustained minor injuries, and was transported to a nearby hospital, according to LPFD. The cause of the crash was likely due to a driving over-correction rather than anything serious, according to LPFD spokesperson Rosa Ramos.

The Pleasanton building engineer assessed the structural damage, and requested further LPFD crews to shore up the affected portion of the building.
