CERT Training Open To Livermore & Pleasanton Residents

Registration is open for the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department's free course on disaster preparedness, fire safety, and more.

PLEASANTON, CA — The Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department is hosting a Community Emergency Response Team Training from April 23 to May 28.

Community members have the opportunity to learn disaster preparedness, fire safety, disaster medical response, disaster psychology, terrorism, and more. At the end of the course, participants will take part in a drill to put what they learned into practice.

The courses are free and open to anyone 16 or older who lives and/or works in Livermore or Pleasanton. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Courses will take place Tuesday evenings from 6-9:30 p.m., and a class on Saturday, May 11 from 9-4:30. Courses are held at the Public Works Department and LPFD training grounds on Busch Road.
