CHP Seeking Car That Rammed Into Patrol Vehicle

The California Highway Patrol said a gold or silver sedan rammed into a parked CHP patrol car Saturday night and sped off.

PLEASANTON, CA — The California Highway Patrol is seeking the public's help identifying a hit-and-run suspect they said struck a CHP patrol car on Saturday at 11:34 p.m.

The crash occurred on I-580 eastbound, west of Santa Rita Road, according to CHP. Officers were on the scene of an unrelated crash at the time of the collision. The suspect vehicle was a silver or gold four-door sedan from the mid-2000s, with minor damage to the right side. A photo of the car is printed above, courtesy of CHP.
