PLEASANTON, CA — Firefighters from Engine 92 of the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department rescued a small kitten trapped in a storm drain.

The kitten was only about a week old, and did not have its mother nearby, the department said. The crews pulled the kitten out, and named it Stormy. Stormy was then taken to a local veterinarian to receive the care it needed.
