Patch: Tell us a bit about your business or organization:
Michael Johnston: Fit Learning Bay Area Educational remediation and growth. Science of Learning applied to learners of all types. 40 hours with us can improve academic skills by an entire grade level.

Patch: How long have you been doing business in town?
Michael Johnston: We are going into our 4th year serving Tri-Valley and Bay area at large

Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Michael Johnston: I In 2018, My son needed help with Math and after two enrollments with the Reno, NV office, he improved 3 grade levels! The development in his confidence, persistence, and independence were incredible. I knew we had to open a center here in the Bay Area to bring these same outcomes to families in this area.

Patch: What's the most common piece of advice you give to customers?
Michael Johnston: Don't worry about labels or disabilities. We focus on development of skills and abilities - that often just need the right practice opportunities with a program like ours. Start with an assessment, and talk about what you'd like your child to be able to to do instead of a focus on what they (currently) may not be able to do.

Patch: What’s the most satisfying part of your job?
Michael Johnston: Seeing the improvements in confidence, ability, and skills as a result of several enrollments with us. We transform the learning experiences of every student that comes through our doors!

Patch: How would you say your business or organization distinguishes itself from the others?
Michael Johnston: Science, Data, Fun, Customized Curriculum to ever learner, amazing outcomes
