I-680 To Partially Close This Weekend

Lanes of southbound I-680 will close, Caltrans said. More partial closures are coming in October.

The left two lanes of southbound I-680 between Alcosta Boulevard in San Ramon and the I-580/680 connector in Pleasanton will close from Friday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Oct. 7 at 7 a.m.

PLEASANTON, CA — The left two lanes of southbound I-680 between Alcosta Boulevard in San Ramon and the I-580/680 connector in Pleasanton will close from Friday, Oct. 4 at 9 p.m. until Monday, Oct. 7 at 7 a.m.

The far-left Express Lane and left shoulder will also be closed on northbound I-680 between Amador Valley Boulevard in Dublin and Alcosta Boulevard in San Ramon during the same time.

The right two lanes will remain open, but Caltrans asked motorists to consider alternative routes to alleviate traffic congestion.

Two lanes of this southbound stretch of I-680 will also be closed from Friday, Oct. 18 to Monday, Oct. 21.

Closures will be postponed in the event of inclement weather.
