'Magical Holiday Evening,' Holiday Parade, Tree Lighting Days Away In Pleasanton
Kick off the holiday season in style with a Christmas market, Santa appearances, a tree lighting, parade, and much more.
PLEASANTON, CA — The Pleasanton community is invited to spend a "Magical Holiday Evening" together right before the Hometown Holiday Parade.
This magical evening will take place Friday night, and feature an entire Christmas market along Division Street with up to 30 vendors. Guests can enjoy arts & crafts tables where they can decorate ornaments, a full hot cocoa bar, and enjoy live holiday music. There will be also be a snow machine, scavenger hunt, toy drive, and numerous specials at downtown shops and restaurants.
No holiday evening would be truly magical without the presence of Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will be taking free photos at the Museum on Main from 4 to 7 p.m.

The following day, scores of floats, marching bands, and community groups will march along Main Street for the Hometown Holiday Parade, which kicks off at 5 p.m. The parade will be followed by a Tree Lighting Ceremony with musical entertainment and a re-appearance of St. Nick.
