Parenting Author to Present on Homework Strategies
"Taming the Homework Monster at every age & stage" is a workshop geared towards parents of students in grades K-8.
Pleasanton, CA – The Community Education Series continues on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 with
“Taming the Homework Monster at every age & stage” which is a workshop geared towards parents of
students in grades K-8. The workshop will be presented by Susan Stone Belton, Parent Coach, Speaker
and Author. It will be held from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the large meeting room of the Pleasanton Public
Library at 400 Old Bernal Avenue.
Belton will recommend homework strategies for at risk students, gifted students and everyone in
between. She will help you understand how and when to help your child with homework. The event is

Susan Stone Belton is a certified Special Education Teacher who has spent decades working with
children and families. She has presented hundreds of motivational talks to Bay Area groups, focusing on
healthy communication and effective discipline for all ages. Through her private practice, Susan coaches
individual families in their homes. Susan is the author of “Real Parents, Real Kids, Real Talk”, a book for
parents with children of all ages, and is the proud mother of two young adults.
