Pleasanton Brush Fire Triggers Safety Reminder
The fire was off Campinia Place Wednesday morning.

PLEASANTON, CA — There were no injuries or structural damage following a vegetation fire off Campinia Place in Pleasanton Wednesday morning just after 11.
The fire was reported at 4367 Campinia Place at 11:14 a.m., according to the PulsePoint app. Thats near Vallecitos Road.
Flames spread to ¼ of an acre, officials confirmed. Three engines responded to the area.

Fence grinding which created sparks on the dry grass caused the fire, officials said.
“The fire department would like to remind everyone that cutting and welding near dry grass can cause sparks that will ignite fires,” Battalion Chief James Artman told Patch.
