PLEASANTON, CA — City leaders are celebrating the recent completion of Pleasanton's 2024 pavement management program, having successfully treated close to 2 million square feet of streets over the last year.
Among the highlights shared Thursday was repaving one of the city's busiest routes, Hopyard Road. Over the summer, crews worked day and night to repair and repave the street while minimizing impacts to traffic, officials said.
The program also saw crews deploy to streets across the city to complete slurry sealing and asphalt overlays and improve an estimated 518 lane miles across several neighborhoods..
