PLEASANTON, CA — A Pleasanton man hit by a car Sunday night in the Oakland Hills told KTVU that he believes the driver had "murderous intent" following a road rage incident.

Joseph Lax of Pleasanton did not require hospitalization after the crash, KTVU reported.

Lax told the station he was nearing a blind turn when a speeding driver narrowly missed his car, confronted Lax and told him to watch where he was going, then threatened to kill Lax and his passengers.
