Pleasanton Man Finds Live Grenades In His Garage: Cops

PLEASANTON, CA — A Pleasanton man found three live hand grenades in his garage last week, according to the Pleasanton Police Department.

The man turned them in to the police department, but did not know that they were live, police said.

The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad helped diffuse and destroy the grenades.

Anyone who finds potentially dangerous explosives should not touch them and immediately call their local police department.
