Pleasanton Teens Stabbed In Large Fight; Man Makes Death Threats: PPD
Two teens were stabbed and one was arrested near AVHS. In a separate incident, a man was arrested on charges of brandishing a weapon.
PLEASANTON, CA — Two Pleasanton teens were stabbed, and another man allegedly threatened to kill another person with a weapon over the weekend, according to the Pleasanton Police Department. PPD spokesperson Teri Yan told Patch that the two incidents were isolated and unrelated, and there is currently no threat to public safety.
On Saturday at around 11 p.m., police responded to reports of a fight involving approximately 10 teenagers at the 1000 block of Harvest Circle, near Amador Valley High School, according to a statement from the Pleasanton Police Department. An investigation determined that two 18-year-old Pleasanton residents were stabbed in the leg. Both were transported to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect, also a Pleasanton teen, was arrested and booked at Alameda County Juvenile Hall on charges of assault with a deadly weapon. Police are actively investigating, and do not plan to release further information as of Monday afternoon.

A Pleasanton parent told Patch that the brawl began after a fight at a house party. One group of students left, and another reportedly followed them and sent threats on Snapchat.
The Pleasanton Unified School District has been in touch with the police department regarding the incident, and reached out to the student involved in the fight to provide support, according to spokesperson Patrick Gannon. "We continue to have mental health support on campus for any student who needs it and will continue to partner with the Pleasanton Police Department - students are encouraged to reach out to a trusted adult on campus if they feel unsafe on campus," Gannon said.

On Sunday, at around 8 p.m., officers responded to reports that a 39-year-old man had brandished a weapon and threatened to kill someone else in a home on the 6000 block of Alisal Street. Several people were safely evacuated from the residence, and the suspect surrendered to police without incident. No injuries were reported, police said. The suspect was arrested on charges of brandishing a weapon and making criminal threats, and was booked at Santa Rita Jail.
