Measure I Support At 54.63 Percent, According To Latest Totals

Measure I, a $395 million bond to improve school facilities, has 54.63% support, close to the 55% it needs to pass.

PLEASANTON, CA – Updated totals from Alameda County show that Measure I, a $395 million school bond to fund facility improvements, may pass after all. As of Monday at 4:26 p.m., 8,426 voters, or 54.63%, voted in favor, while 6,998, or 45.37%, voted against. The measure needs 55% support to pass.

The Monday totals also show Jeff Nibert continuing to lead Dean Wallace in the race to represent City Council District 1 (1579-932 votes), and incumbent Julie Testa continuing to lead in District 3 (Testa has 1,606 votes; Liu has 1,246, and Yee has 775.)

Laurie Walker continues to lead the PUSD Board race, with 1,038 votes. Urvi Shah has 548 votes, and Christine Lutz has 184.
