PLEASANTON, CA — A semi ran off the road and then overturned in the southbound lane of Highway 680 before the Sunol exit early Monday morning causing traffic to back up to Pleasanton, KCBS Radio reported.

The accident happened around 2:00 a.m. and caused both lanes to stop.
