Interstate Highway Closure In The Bay Area This Weekend: Caltrans

The closure is scheduled from Friday night to Monday morning.

PLEASANTON, CA — The three right lanes of southbound I-680 will be closed between Alcosta Boulevard in San Ramon and the I-580/I-680 connector in Pleasanton from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18 through 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, Caltrans announced.

The two left lanes will remain open, though drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes.

Closures will be postponed in the event of inclement weather.

Portable changeable message signs will advise motorists of the closure. See here for a list of alternative routes and more information.
