Surprise Arrests: Pleasanton Police 'Keep An Eye Out'
Two recent separate arrests were the results of an accident and a pullover.
PLEASANTON, CA — “You never know who could be behind the wheel, but we're here to help keep an eye out.” That’s the message the Pleasanton Police Department shared Tuesday.
A driver was arrested in Pleasanton last week after they crashed their car into a tree and ran from the scene, the post stated.
“The person turned out to be a felon in possession of two guns and drugs,” the police department said.

Another person was arrested, the post said, who had an outstanding warrant and was driving a stolen car.
“Burglary tools and a replica handgun were recovered from the vehicle,” the police department said.
