Valley Humane Hosting Ribbon Cutting For Refurbished Adoption Center
The refurbishment includes an updated look to the 2011 building, including new paint and signage.

PLEASANTON, CA — Valley Humane Society is hosting an open house reception and ribbon cutting ceremony for its refurbished pet adoption center. The refurbishment includes an updated look to the 2011 building, including new paint inside and out, and new signage dedicating the adoption center to Dr. Sandy St. Dennis, who volunteered her veterinary expertise for 20 years.
“Dr. St. Dennis was a game changer for Valley Humane,” said Valley Humane President and CEO Melanie Sadek. “Her unwavering support and dedication elevated our ability to serve both animals and the community. Very few animal welfare organizations are fortunate enough to have access to such exceptional volunteer veterinary care—we wouldn’t be where we are today without her.”
The ceremony will take place Friday, May 30 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 3670 Nevada Street in Pleasanton. Reception guests will enjoy a short program beginning at 6 p.m., followed by a ribbon cutting at 6:15 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. See here to learn more. Learn more at valleyhumane.org.
