Work On Foothill Road, Las Positas Boulevard May Lead To Delays, Closures
The city is working on storm system improvements on Foothill Road and pavement improvements on Las Positas near Foothill Road and I-680.
PLEASANTON, CA — The city of Pleasanton is completing two construction projects that may result in lane closures and delays.
Storm System Improvements on Foothill Road:
This week, the city is beginning to install new storm pipe on Foothill Road, just south of the high school near Puri Court. The project will continue over the next several weeks in order to increase the storm system's capacity and prevent flooding. Work willbtake place during the school day, and will be scheduled to minimize school traffic impacts.

West Las Positas Boulevard pavement work:
Crews are continuing pavement improvements on West Las Positas Boulevard between Foothill Road and I-680. Work includes repaving, regrading, and safety updates like buffered bike lanes and a new left-turn lane at Foothill Road.

Most work will happen on weekdays during school hours, with occasional Saturday construction. The roadway will remain open, but there may be some lane closures and delays.
